Celebration of Freedom
The Celebration of Freedom committee consists of volunteers that donate their time and resources to supporting our veterans. They hold an annual celebration week in November that includes a parade, events, and various activities in lieu of veterans that served our country.
These events happen every year in November to help honor all veterans who have fought for us, died for us and given us the right to be free! Throughout the week there are medals given, veterans recognized and celebration of those who have given so much! For more information follow the committee's Facebook page @CelebrationofFreedomKS. To be part of this dedicating committee and events, please contact the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce office.
The Celebration of Freedom committee invites the community to join in and appreciate all the support in unity throughout this very special annual dedication and celebration. Revisit page in future for November 2022 schedule of events.
The American Legion Post 81 organizes the Wreaths Across America program for El Dorado. The message is REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom. You can help by sponsorship of memorial wreaths for veterans' grave that will be placed on December 17, 2022. Sponsor a wreath at https://wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/15917 or https://wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/163528.
